Fr Thomas will be on his Christmas break from Monday 29th December –Saturday 10th January. All Masses remain as normal EXCEPT the Vigil Masses on 3rd & 10th January which are cancelled. Many thanks to those who will be enabling the continued offering of worship during this time, including Fr David Hill from our neighbouring parish next Sunday & Bishop Peter’s kind offer of support for Fr Rushforth during the week.
Help with Welcome and Hospitality
If you’re interested in helping to welcome people to Christ Church at Sung Masses and major events events please sign up at the back of church and speak to Jane Hart, who is now coordinating our Ministry of Welcome.
Latin Vigil Mass is offered on Saturdays at 6pm, all welcome. This is a chance to worship together in the language of the Church for over 1700 years and an important, powerful reminder of our link with past worship and the whole Church throughout the world. It also restores a long-standing Christ Church custom.
PCC Meeting – Tuesday 13th January 6pm Low Mass followed by meeting. PCC members only.

Week of Prayer for Christian Unity Sunday 18th - Sunday 25th January – We will offer prayers for Christian Unity throughout this week, as the intention at each daily Mass, There will also be prayers at 6pm on Sunday 18th for Christian Unity, and the Evensong and Supper on Sunday 25th will focus on this important theme as well. Please do join us for some of this time to pray for the unity of the Church - and invite friends, especially from other churches or denominations .
Fishers of Men - will resume meeting in the New Year.
Morning Prayer & Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament begins at 10am before the Sunday Sung Mass, to encourage more people to properly prepare for the Mass in prayer. Everyone is welcome to come into the Sanctuary to join in the prayers, or join from their seats: there are sheets at the entrance to follow the service.
Monthly Prayer List: This is renewed each month. Names can only be submitted using the forms at the back of church or by emailing the parish office, and will remain for one month.
