The Parochial Church Council (PCC) is a body of elected lay members (9), ex officio & Deanery Synod representatives (3) responsible for the overall functioning of Christ Church including finances, maintenance and above all working with the Rector to develop and engage in the mission of the Church here in St Leonards.
How are the PCC Elected?
I have a question which I'd like put to the PCC, how can I make sure my question is asked? Where would I find the response?
The PCC are elected by members of Christ Church Electoral Roll (the Electorate) at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) who must meet once sometime between 1st January and the 31st May each year . Only members of the Electoral Roll can be present at the meeting, can vote on any motion proposed and ask questions of the Rector.
Typically you would need to speak to a member of the PCC personally about your concern, query, idea or suggestion.
That PCC member would then need to submit it to the Chairman for possible inclusion on the next Agenda to be raised at the meeting. Alternatively you can always fill in a simple online form to for anything just click Feedback here and head over to our Feedback page.
